Wow these are ridiculously huge. It's a marketing ploy to rack up social media photo shares I'm sure. But how much food waste is this whole thing gonna rack up when everything is said and done?

I think its a big waste of food. Nobody can eat that much. Sure it may be fun for you and a bunch friends but the novelty will wear off fast. People want their own personal steaming hot bowls, and who wants to waste time to portion out at the table, not to mention the mess! 3 big ? ? ?

I agree. Huge pho bowls are just publicity stunts. They're a big waste of food, and whatevr buzz they get dies out quickly anyway. People keep saying "oh, but you can get separate bowls and share with friends". Right, to which I'd say "Uh we like to order a whole beef carcass, half medium rare the other half bloody, and we'd like 50 separate plates so we can share among our class reunion buddies of 50, thanks!"

There's a reason why self-respecting restaurants don't do this.
